Samsung's massive 57-inch Dual 4K gaming monitor drops to a low $1,550

That is getting really really close to what I consider a perfect monitor. Hopefully things will continue to trend this direction.

I think for an ideal monitor it would be 3x 2160 p with 3840 + 5120 + 3840 so 12800 pixels wide which would make it a 93 inch monitor with this pixel density. 1000R is almost perfect for a 16 inch tall monitor screen for me.

This monitor is a bit of an odd bird, which probably explains the price cut.

The VA panel makes it entirely unsuitable for productive use. It appears to be more of a 'bragging rights' toy for consumers that play games, browse the web, and make snarky posts on forums. However the GPU power required to drive a 16-17 MP display in modern games at 240hz won't be released until the 2030s and will likely cost as much as a car. What is this for besides being desktop eye candy?
