Samsungs SSD warranty

Samsungs new SSD comes with a 10 year warranty. If the SSD has to be replaced will you only get a 90 day warranty on the SSD or keep some of the 10 year warranty?

"The warranty period for repaired and replaced products will be applied for the longer of the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days."

Call their support just to be sure, but it continues off the original purchase date.
