samsunv tv connected to network but cannot connect to internet

Started seeing this issue after switching to netgear C3700. The samsung smart tv8450 is unable to connect to Internet (wired/wireless) , but is connected to the router. Can someone help with this?

Sounds like cable companies are getting called about this a lot today, and samsung tech line is swamped. Think its on their end.
