Hi. I have decided to give up and ask for help with San Andreas.

I'm trying to get to date Millie, as I need her keycard. However, I've
tried regularly for many days of game time, but she has never been in.
I've checked walkthroughs and the newsgroup's archive, and the only
suggestion I've found is to leave Las Venturas and return. I've tried a
few times, via San Fierro or Los Santos (or both), but no Millie.

It seems from the archives that I'm not the only one to have this problem,
but does anyone have any other solutions? (When I replay it from the
start, I think I'll just kill her straight away...)

Thanks,
Gareth

Yep, this nearly had me throwing my PS2 out the window.
The way I did it was by setting up camp outside her house, entering the
cheat for speeding up time then waiting to see which DAY and what TIME the
heart appeared. When you get this information restart the level again
WITHOUT your cheats and now you have this info, just chill until it's time
as it will always happen at the same time every 'week'.
Alternatively if you're not that bothered about saving with cheats on just
wait outside her house with the time speed cheat rocking anyway and enter as
soon as you see the heart.

It is true that if you stay on foot reasonable close by girlfriends
ring you up and she did ring me up... but you have to be patient and
HAVE to be on foot.

Do you mean the heart on the map? That is permanently there. If not,
which heart do you mean? No other heart appeared when dating Denise. I
either got "she's not home right now", or she came out to meet me.

So it depends on the day as well? Ack. The walkthroughs I looked at only
said "between 12:00 and 22:00", but mentioned nothing about days.

Fair enough, I shall give it another go. Pesky girl. Thanks.

I don't think it is day dependant. It just seems to be pot luck. The
very first time I dated her I couldn't imagine why all the fuss, I
would go to my nearest safe house, come back without the gimp suit and
she would being or in within a couple of hours, usually lunchtime. I
actually dated her as I did with the others, getting her to 100%. That
was the last time I had the time or patience as it has been a hassle
ever since.

I concur. Drive around the area and they can't reach you by phone.
After a while you'll see your progress going down because they can't
contact you.

Cheers,

Aha! By standing outside with time accelerated, a red mission circle
appeared on Saturday. So I reloaded and she was finally in. Hopefully
this will be guaranteed every Saturday now. Thanks for that.

(I don't much like the days of the week in the game. It's an artificial
kind of realism, much like eating. "You haven't eaten for a week - you
are feeling hungry.")

Millie is supposed to be home after 2:00am (until 10:00am) and 2:00pm (until
6:00pm I think) because of her shift work.
Since I got her to 50% and got the card I haven't seen her for dust though I
have lost progress with her.
I've even tried punching her door, throwing grenades etc. No deal.
