Do latest SSDs with Sandforce controllers (specfically SandForce SF-2281) still have issues with the BSOD and connection problems? I know this was an issue a couple of years ago.

I'm looking into getting a kingston HyperX 3K (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-026-KS&groupid=701&catid=2104&subcat=1427)

Sorry but not really interested in 'mine still works' responses, as this is not rock hard proof that the issues has been resolved.... I know that originally tests were made that triggered the fault, have we seen any recent tests confirm a fix? Otherwise looks like I may have to cough up for a Samsung EVO 840.

I think the question of whether or not it would still have issues would be dependent on whether or not the manufacturer has provided support and firmware updates. There's too many drives like that out there to go on a case by case basis but I personally am still kind of skeptical about those drives. If you want to be on the safe side you can get a 120GB Samsung 840 Evo and those do not have any issues associated with them.
