Hi all
I have an older Toshiba D850-11C I wanted to upgrade with more disk space, so I got a Sandisk 500gb SSD and reinstalled Windows 10 from a USB stick.
However, the new hard drive is not being detected by the bios or when I run the good ol´ "Diskpart" command and I have tried to feed it drivers with no luck.
I can easily connect to the harddrive if I connect it with a USB attachment
Is the hardware too old?

I "had" a Toshiba 650 with older BIOS that did detect it until I tried to install Windows 10 on it and it never showed up during "diskpart" either.
I bricked it recently during a Bios update.

What can I do or should I just give up and stay with my old 320gb harddrive?
