Sandisk Extreme 120GB or Samsung 830 128GB

Hi there,

I am currently looking for components to buy for my new gaming system with a budget. I came across the Samsung 830 from a review magazine but while looking for it online, I stumbled across the Sandisk Extreme which is quite similar, but that's what has caused the dilemma.

I really need help in choosing one of the two, as I have never bought or had any experience with an SSD, although I have some basic knowledge of them. I will mainly be using the drive for booting and installing programs and games, while using another HDD for storing files.

Which is should I choose? Thanks in advance.

You probably wouldn't notice any real-world difference between the two drives but I would go for the Samsung 830.

Alright thanks. I guess the SSD isn't such a huge priority so i'll go for that, but is there anything cheaper than that which you could recommend, as I am trying to spend less on certain stuff so I can spend more on my priorities.
