Hey all,

Last night I was able to access my external SSD, a SanDisk 55AE (500GB). This morning while preparing for an interview with files on that drive, it became unreadable by my computer.

My system recognizes that there's a USB device plugged in, and what the drive is called, but not that it's a storage device. And unless I go into Device Manager, it doesn't acknowledge that there's a problem. I've tested a number of other USB drives, and they all function correctly. I tried the SanDisk on my Windows 11 laptop, and ran into the same issue.

I've tried uninstalling the drivers, reinstalling, rebooting, updating Windows, etc. Everything short of a full OS reinstall. Below is the message I get under the "Device not migrated" event:

Code:
Device SCSI\Disk&Ven_SanDisk&Prod_Extreme_55AE\6&1bc82b0&3&000000 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.

Last Device Instance Id: USBSTOR\Disk&Ven_TOSHIBA&Prod_External_USB_3.0&Rev_0001\2013093060625&0

Location Path:
Migration Rank: 0xF000FC00FFFFF130
Present: false
Status: 0xC0000719
Here's my current OS, and hardware:

Edition: Windows 10 Home
Version: 22H2
Installed on: ‎2020-‎09-‎14
OS build: 19045.2486
Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0

CPU: Intel i5-9600K
MB: Z390 AORUS Elite
GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX 1070
RAM: 32 GB DDR4
OS SSD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB

Any help or push in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
