I noticed my mini , high quality 32GB Sandisk Ultra fit USB 3.0 stick was quite hot after leaving it in the socket all day.
But the USB port works fine ( and all say they are "working properly" in device manager, but other physicslly larger USBs are only slightly warm in the same USB 3.0 port.
So I put that down to it being very small ( like a USB mouse stick) .

I also tried this USB in my old laptop, and it started to get warm there too.
Do I have a problem?
Note There was a bios update on this stick - could just having it there, cause it to get hot being i.e. read a lot??
Note in the Bios the OS is set to load from the UEFI HDD, and all other options are disabled.
