The MicroSD market should be bigger and faster, just about every non apple product does use it, (every phone) why are they slow and low?

I could build something shmancy looking and claim 200yrs storage..., who's gonna call me out on that after 200yrs if it fails? That is a steep price for 16GB which is nothing by current standards. whatev

You've probably have to keep that vintage win7 machine, with perfectly working screen. mouse, usb port, etc 100 years in to the future if you want to access the vault. Then, hope that someone make new driver so you can migrate from your ancient machine after that 100 years.

Even NASA recently have trouble accessing old apollo data tapes, and thats just 40 years ago.

Wall paintings have existed intact for thousands of years, but yet can still be deciphered even today.

yeah right, I am sure my grandson would love to see his father's naked baby pictures...

come to think of it, I hope facebook is still there after 100 years...

Someone claimed some brand of DVD+R can lasts up to 100 years
but in reality that it only lasted less than 6 years! (some extreme cases less than 1 year)
