Sandy bridge price change???

Hey I was wondering if the price of a sandy bridge i5 2500k will change when they release the new ivy bridge, Im new to pc buildig and don't have prior experince with when prices change. Thanks ahead of time

There may be a slight reduction, however the SB platform will still have a significant rsence until IB gets fully ramped up.

its looking even worse, IB isnt shaping up to be what everyone thought it would be. higher tdp than predicted, core temps through the roof with overclocking. no 15 percent ipc incread, closer to 5 percent and worse overclocks.

infact, theres price slashes on IBs launch prices. i suspect SB will remain at current prices (and even going up as sources dry up.)
