Question SANE with GUI

I was able to set up CUPS to create a printer server. I am using an Epson all-in-one printer and I want to set up a scanner with GUI. I was able to set up SANE but teaching my wife to connect via SSH and use command lines to scan a document is a problem, so is there a better way to set up a SANE with GUI?
