When i watch tv the picture is amazing but when i play xbox on it it looks bad and on some games the textures take a while to detail i do use a HDMI cable and i was wondering do this have to do with the tv's 60Hz refresh rate or do i need to adjust settings?

Check the video settings for the xbox. Set them to the native resolution for your tv. 1080 or 720p is the two most common HD resolutions.

I just did this no change still the same. :/
