Saphire atomic 4870x2

Hi
I bought myself the atomic 4870x2 card.
after installing and checking all started running tests and discoverd that as soon as you run the 3dmark vantage it turns my pc of and restarts it.
I have n 650w coolermaster with 4 seperate rails.
4 gig ddr3 mem. 2,5 gig intel quad.
asus p5e3 deluxe MB.
wd 300gb velociraptor.
vista ult. 64 bit.

Please advise.

Hi there.... Yeah that's a real bummer, but it most likely sounds like a power issue.
Try getting a new min 700W PSU and see if this issue reoccurs.
You can always return the PSU if that's not the case.

Also make sure you have a proper air flow in your case 4870x2s can run hot.

Yeah, that is exactly what happens if you don't have enough power. I'm not saying that is the issue, but it is worth looking into.

Hi you guys

Yea, it was the card.
spoke to Christo at saphire and he was pretty amazed about the card - said it was so knew he doesnt even know about it.

but it was tested by axiz - my supplier and found faulty.
they replaced it with a normal saphire 4870x2 - not the atomic, watercooled model.
hope this one works.
