Hello, I bought a Saphire Hd 7770 a few days ago, But it isnt working as should i think,
Example: when i start sims 3 when its loading in the shiny things that come out of the sims 3 logo, through that there are black lines, even with Euro truck simulator 1, bit laggy and on pause menu (with that gray background) i see some white lines moving. I think that my motherboard or CPU is not good anymore, My cpu is on a simple task fast on 100 procent usage, and before i had this videocard i wanted to overclock the cpu, but it failed even with 1 mhz fsb gain. so maybe there is a motherboard problem? before i had this cpu, I overclocked my e4400 from 2.0 to 2.5 ghz and then my onboard graphics freaked out, like those snowflakes when you have no signal on a old tv. it was only with gaming. So i didnt game for a while, and from a good friend i got a E8400. but it seems that it does not work good with my HD 7770.
My system specs are:
Intel C2D E8400 @ 3 ghz idle 25 degrees and after 1 hour prime95 40 degrees
2X 80gb sata hdd
MSI G41m-p26
adata 1333 ddr3 memory
saphire hd 7770 ghz edition, Continuiously 30 degrees.
antec 380w psu with 6pin connector.
Oh and when gaming, my cpu usage is 100 procent.
with the benchmark of gta 4 was cpu useage 100 en gpu useage 39 procent
So What could it be? The motherboard, CPU, Memory or the gpu it self? i reinstalled windows and downloaded the lastest drivers. I want to know what the problem is, because if it is the videocard,
than i'm not going to buy a new motherboard and cpu i had planned, I wanted to buy a new msi b85 motherboard with Pentium g3420 processor. But i would really like tto know what is causing this problem. Sorry for my bad english. I hope you can help me out.
Deniz
PS: The HD 7770 is the last thing i put in this pc. therefore i was not able to play a game because the onboard graphics was strange. even with games like San andreas on 800*600 resolution it was glitching.. like having no signal..
