Sapphire 5850

I just ordered a Sapphire 5850. Do you guys think I will notice much of a difference? I currently run 2x 3870(crossfire). I'm thinking that I should, but I could not find any benches with the 3870X2 in them for a comparison. Any one make a similar upgrade as of late?

A 5850 will pound crossfire 3870's. It's at least twice as fast as those.

I noticed in your sig that you have the 5870 and a toughpower 650w. It handles it fine? How old is that PSU? I have the 750w toughpower, but it's a few years old, and on the website it says 18a per 12v rail. Now the recommened is 40a combined over 2 12v rails. Anyone know if this will be a problem? Or does the 4 12v rails on these power supplies combine to get the 60a that the PSU is rated for overall? I'm confused.

Well in the specs for this PSU, it lists 18a for each 12v rail, but it says for a combined maximum loading of 60a. So if the 5850 needs 40a over 2 rails, how would that work? From what I see, 2 rails will only cover 36a, and 3 rails will cover 54a, and all 4 would use a max of 60a. I got to be missing something here, I'm thinking. It seems to contridict itself somewhat. Is all four rails sharing the total 60a, or are they individual?

More than twice two 3870 easily. It's as powerful as two 4850 in crossfire.
