sapphire 7750 on my old pc?

hi im going to buy a sapphire 7750 1gb i just want to make sure i dont lose its potential bottlenecking it by using it on this system :

Mother board : Gigabyte MA790GP-UD4H 2 PCI-E 2.0 x16 interface (Runing at 8x 8x)
CPU : AMD Phenom II 940 x4 Black Edition
RAM : 2x 2 gb ( 1033 )
power supply : 680wt

Spring for a 7770 (r7-250x) if you can or even better for not alot more is the 260x and the gtx750ti is even better than it. Those two are probably the best low budget cards made IMO.
