It should be 1024mb right?

Intel i3 3220
Asrock H77 pro4mvp
corsair vx550
seagate 1tb
Vengeance Corsair 8gb

OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. What's outdated? Can you point it out? My rig is 3 days old btw

thats ur drivers. than do the below before reinstalling this new driver.

download driver sweeper below.

than uninstall ur current drivers. use the sweeper above, than restart ur pc.

than install ur new downloaded ati drivers than restart.

im saying if the card isnt showing full 1gig theres either a hardware issue with ur card or a software issue, before sending it back for an rma, id do all the above and see if that fixes the problem, because the 7700 only comes in 1gig versions and ati and nvidia stopped making 768mb videocards im pretty shur a while ago.

I experience flickering on some of my games, but sometimes it disappear. I tried AIDA64, it says 1024mb there. But why is it 689mb in dxdiag?

i have no clue, does it say 1024mbs in ur graphic drivers? if so shouldnt be an issue, if ur having other system stability and graphic issues u might have a defective card,

Yes. Is there any other way to check the VC if it's working in its full performance? and check the status other than dxdiag?

no prob. dude mine is hd 7750 and is showing 710mb in dxdiag but never wonder why bcoz its still a 1gb, check it in screen resolution properties it shows 1024mb dedicated memory no need of RMA other than if u have nay kinda prob.

How did I forget that! Clearly im still a noob.

I get paranoid now when I see something strange on my hardware/software, because I use to ignore little details and let things die or get fried because of my ignorance. Thank you!

i use drivers settings and device manager to check size of vram, i dont care much for dxdiag tbh.

My Device Mgr doesnt show the size of the VC? Why? Admin>Display Adapters> AMD Radeon HD 7770 Series>Properties

well i meant for hardware information, the display properties should say 1gig of ram :d if not , and u said u was issues, id suggest u get an rma from the place u bought it from.
