Sapphire 7850: Very blocky shadows

Sapphire 7850 2gb
CCC 13.1

So i bought Portal 2 and immediately noticed this:

Now that doesn't seem right. I remember seeing the exact same thing in Far Cry 3 at one point.
I don't think this is normal, right ?

Isn't it just low shadow settings? What are your graphic settings?

All high.
And not all shadows look like this, some are normal:

Well then. Here's the standard answer in this forum:
Uninstall drivers using driversweeper and reinstall the drivers. You could also try to test an older driver. I play Portal 2 with the same card with 12.10 drivers (haven't updated yet). I have no shadow problems.

Other than that I don't know.

And so it is, with 12.10 the problem is gone and shadows look much better.
