Sapphire 7950 or 280x Vaporx-X

basically thinking of getting a new graphics card. the two am looking at are the sapphire vapor-x 7950 and the sapphire vapor-x 280. the 280x is more expensive so does that mean its the better card and is the performance difference worth the extra cost?
