Sapphire AMD Radeon Vapor-X R9 290 Tri-X GDDR5 VS Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 380 Nitro 4GB GDDR5 (CANT DECIDE)

Yesterday my HD7950 vapour x died on me, ive done a bit of research and found that the R9 290 performs quite a bit better in bechmarking than the R9 380, But from what ive seen the R9 380 is more commonly recomended.

Which one should i choose? Are there any better cards in the same price range? (£150-180)

The R9 380 is a lower powered card while the R9 290 requires more but performs better than the other. You won't really find any other cards in that price range that perform like either of those two. Go with the R9 290 if you have the power supply for it.
