Hi all,
Im making a gaming computer and Im going to buy a low end graphic card just to get started. This is what i have so far : Abit "NF7" mobo
AMD XP 2500+ "Barton"
2x Kingston Valueram PC2700 512mb
W/D Special Edition 80gb
Im looking at getting the SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9200 vid card. Now as a low buget card is this one ok? I dont plan on oc'in the card but maybe the cpu, gpu and ram. I did read THG's grapic guide which was a HUGE help as it saved me from buying a "Cards to Avoid" ( Thank You Tom !)
The guide didnt specify the "Sapphire" card but it does say the 9200 is ok. Thanks all!

A 4200ti is better...

A long long time ago, but I can still remember, how that music used to make me smile... <A HREF="http://www.nexus.hu/zonix/DIGGER.MID" target="_new"><b><font color=blue>Digger rulz</font color=blue></b></A>

If possible try and get a Ti4200 or 9600 (non SE) at least.

If not then the 9100 is better then the 9200 if you can find it.

If you have to stick with the 9200 it is a decent (if I can get away with saying that) budget card, just don't expect any extra fireworks (AA, high details, high resolutions) or the ability to play any DX9 games unless you don't mind watching a slideshow (2-10 fps).
