sapphire hd 7750 vs 7770

I think my power supply is not good enough to handle sapphire hd 7770 ghz oc. so i want to buy sapphire hd 7750. now i want to know what is the performance of hd 7750 . is it really poor than hd 7770 oc? (my power supply is tr2 420)

get 7750 and oc it to 7770. easiest way. they performing nearly the same.

seems silly to trade DOWN in graphics cards if the limitation is from the power supply. that power supply should be able to handle a 7750 / 7770 / 7790 without any problems.

giant.bucket sapphire hd 7770 oc requirement is minimum 450w in sapphire website. but i am confused it will perfectly run or not in my 420w psu

it should run just fine. a lot of those PSU recommendations from graphics cards are based on assumptions of X amount of power for CPU, and X amount of power for hard drives, and X amount of extra space "just in case"

which CPU do you have, anyways?

my system is core i3 540 3.06 ghz , 500gb hard disk, 1 dvd rw, 4 gb ram and tr2 420 psu

oh, you've got more than enough power available to run a 7770 card. even if you were to try to overclock you might be ok. you might even be able to go to a 7790 if you want (but the card will obviously cost you more).

Even if your power supply only gives 350W properly, it would be enough for a CPU and one graphics card.
