Sapphire hd 7850 not being detected in the system

I got my pc assembled yesterday and today when i started the windows , i could not find the graphic card under display in the device manager. I have installed the drivers and i have set pci as default in bios and even the graphic card is connected in the cpu cabinet. I am using cosair vx 650 and ga b75md3h motherboard. Why the bios is showing memory frequency around 1333 mhz when i have installed a 4gb 1600 ddr3? here is the link of pics for more details: " http://www.flickr.com/photos/88693836@N05/sets/72157632401247038/ " . Please do reply me soon as i am worried. And the graphic card is making noise after setting pci as default in bios.

The Radeon HD 7850 is a PCIe card, not PCI. That might be your problem with the graphics. You should change the BIOS setting from PCI to PCIe.

Some motherboards default memory to DDR3-1333. Some CPUs also force the motherboard to default to DDR3-1333 even if the motherboard is capable of defaulting to higher frequencies. What CPU are you using?

Okay looks like you need to DISABLE the onboard graphics. You have currently set for "Auto" and you should be able to "Disable" it in the BIOS. Normally I think it would detect your dedicated GPU, but maybe it isn't. Also you need to make sure that you have the PCI-e power connector from your PSU plugged into the 7850 GPU too.

Like lunyone said, disable the onboard graphics. I had this problem with the first PC I built. If this doesn't work and you've already tried what blazorthon said, try reseating the card and making sure it is in the correct slot and that the pci-e power connectors are in the graphics card.

I have disabled the onboard graphics and the 6 pin is connected to psu. I have set PEG 3 and PCIE in bios. The card is installed on pcie x16 slot, still it is not being detected in windows. And how do i increase my rams frequency to 1600 from 1333 mhz?

yes its spinning. And yes i am able to view windows and run my monitor via dvi port of the graphic card but it is not being detected in the system and it is making noise wen set to peg3 or pcie. In device manager, under display only standard vga adapter is shown! Guys please help me out here. And also my ram frequency is set at 1333 mhz instead of 1600 mhz, how do i change the frequency of the memory?

Best way to check that card is to check that card in other's pc.if it doesn't work then that card faulty.

Memory speed is limited to mobo and cpu.if cpu supports upto 1333mhz the ram will be underclocket to that speed.which cpu do you have?

If you are viewing windows on the monitor connected to the video card, then it's being detected! If it shows up as VGA adapter, that just means you need to install the driver. Download the latest Catalyst from AMD and install it.

I have uploaded pics and video of todays analysis. The GPU fans are working which means they are getting power from psu. I have changed the bios settings for PEG 3.0. The mobo also shows pci express 3.0. Tomorrow i am taking the GC to the shop for verification.
