Sapphire HD 7870 OC GHZ edition randomly locks up for few seconds.

I purchased Sapphire HD7870 GHz edition in last may, everything was runing good but i started facing problem since last November . It all started after Installing 12.11 beta drivers during gaming everything freezes for few seconds ( approximately for 30-40 seconds or more) and then everything gets back to normal state, I have never had any crashes or BOSD until now but I think there's definitely something weird going on. I have tried everything, I've uninstalled the current beta drivers and tried using 12.3 to 12.11 beta drivers still no luck. Even When I'm on desktop the computer would lockup for few seconds this is really getting annoying..Please help me fix this problem.

Hitachi 7200 Rpm 1TB HDD
Hitachi 7200 Rpm 500 GB HDD
8.00GB DRR3 1333MHz ram
Windows 7 64bit with Service pack 1 installed
Thermaltake tr2 500 Watt Psu
LG 26LK311 26 Inch HD Tv

You may have to properly uninstall the current drivers using these steps and then reinstall the latest drivers (download directly from AMD's website)

so i have followed those steps still no luck..im wondering if it has anything to do with my psu i've been using this thermaltake tr2 psu for past 3..this problem is so weird i dont get any random crashes my pc never had bosd nothing just random lock ups for few seconds and then everything gets back to normal state this really getting on my nerve now..nothing seems to be working at all :S.
