Sapphire HD7790 or Sapphire HD7790 OC

I'm unsure as to what one to get.
Yes the OC one is better than the standard one but how big is the difference, when playing a game is the difference noticeable, as in is it very noticeable that it's worth paying more money to get the factory overclocked card.

Also could you not just get the standard one then overclock it slightly so it's pretty much the same as the overclocked version anyway?

They only differ in the clock rates.

Get the one with more VRAM.

If you're looking into those cards go with the 2GB version, or you can get a fairly cheap Radeon 7850 like this one
