Hi,
I don't plan to overclock anything. I would like to know if the 6+2 PCIe connector from http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/masterwatt-lite-series/masterwatt-lite-230v-600w/ can be connected to http://sapphirenitro.sapphiretech.com/en/580-le.html 8 pin port. As the PSU only has two 6+2 connectors and no 8-pin connector, I just want to know if I can use the 6+2 connector as an 8 pin for the GPU's 8 pin socket or does the GPU strictly need an 8 pin pcie connector to not act weird or burn or blow up (I do use Seasonic S12G which comes with two 6+2 connectors for my GTX 1070 amp gaming rig). Planning to get the Sapphire RX 580 special edition.
Specs:
I5 3570
Intel DH61 WW mb
2 x 4gb Transcend ddr3 ram.
Cooler Master Masterwatt lite 600W PSU
Zotac Geforce Gtx 750ti
Thanks.
