New build, Parts are Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, gigabyte x570 aorus elite wifi MB, Hyper X Predator 16GB(2×8) 3200MHz RAM, 500GB Kingston A2000 m.2 SSD, FSP Raider RA650 PSU with a Sapphire Nitro SKU: 11293-10-40G GPU.

Dealing with crashing and restarting during gameplay usually a few mins in and unable to restart into safe mode, browsing and streaming work just fine though.

When it crashes the game freezes have a single weird tone then it restarts to the motherboard bios logo as if I just turned it on, when I restart the pc into safe mode itll get to the login and typing before it restarts straight to bios.

Running a Fresh Install of Win10 Pro x64 up to date, Adrenalin 20.12.1 and Sapphire Trixx v8.0, MB bios has been set to PCIEX16 Gen 3.

Would like to know what is likely to be causing the crashing and perhaps a fix for it.
This particular version of gpu is a cut down pcb board version of the more common Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX5700XT

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

What is the BIOS version for your motherboard? Just for the sake of relevance, you're on version 20H2 for Windows 10? You could try and source a donor PSU that's higher in build quality/tier with at least 650W of power for the entire system to see if you're continuing to experience the issue.

Can you get into BIOS and remain there indefinitely?

No problems with bios no matter how long I'm in it and its F30 as the @bios app won't installed. Also if 20H2 is the latest version of win10 then yes.

Im picking up a Coolermaster 750W gold standard tomorrow in the hope that either the extra wattage or having a second pcie power plug powering my gpu as opposed to running it off a single cable split 8+6pin if that makes sence.

No but both PCs have Hyper X Predator 3200Mhz but only my MB seems to be having trouble only real differences is ryzen 5 5600X X570 with m.2 ssd vs ryzen 5 3600 B450 with sata ssd. Before I got my 5600X I had all 4 in B450 with 3600 and GTX1660S no issues. Kids got pc upgrade for Xmas small miracle theirs is perfectly stable and house is cleaner for it.

Was having trouble with gtx1660S gpu when I first installed x570 and ryzen 5600X but it didn't crash anything like what what I've had with this 5700XT figured it was amd buggy drivers but as soon as I had swapped gpus in kids pc then uninstalled nvidia then installed amd jumped into gtaV no problems.

Stupid thing is I got x570 a couple weeks before ryzen 5000 series launched and managed to get cpu @3:04am on launch and thought gtx1660S poor performance was some compatibility issue with 5600x cpu so upgraded to 5700XT now thinking had wrong idea since games crash on max settings fairly quickly but on low settings take longer before crashing
