Sapphire Nitro Rx 480 8gb HDMI stops working

Hello everybody I was wondering why this keeps happening. My Sapphire Nitro not Nitro+ just Nitro 8gb keeps doing this. So what happens after about 15 to 20 minutes of use my computer black screens and I have to reboot it to fix it no other display options work .Its been doing this ever since i got it. But the only way to fix it is to plug in a DVI cable into the card. This is very annoying because im looking to get an lg25um58 ultrawide monitor and I cant use that with my card if the hdmi isn't working. I've literally tried everything uninstalling the drivers with DDU, Installing the latest drivers, Moving PCIE Lanes, Changing power supplies. Nothing will work. I really want to get an ultrawide monitor but I cant use DVI. I guess thats another question, Can I use Dvi to Hdmi adapter to use it on my Ultrawide monitor.

No I have tried many Cables and even my little 19in tv for my xbox and it didn't work. Also will that cable work for a 2560x1920 60hz output.

It doesn't say, but DVI and HDMI are both digital connections. So image quality wise etc, it be able to output the same resolution and image quality as HDMI. DVI just won't carry audio.

But for 6-7 dollars it may be worth a shot.
