Sapphire Nitro RX 480 display

So this will be a newbie question, my monitor have the vga and dvi ports. My graphics card have the hdmi, display port and dvi-d ports. What cable do I need? DVI to DVI?, Hdmi to dvi? dp to dvi? etc. And do I need active adapters to run the monitor properly?

The card should come with a DVI (DVI-I to DVI-D I think) adapter so you shouldn't need to buy one.

Oh ok, I would just get a DVI-DVI adapter and that should work just fine.

If you plan to run resolutions higher than 1920 x 1200 or refresh rates over 60 Hz, get a dual-link DVI cable, otherwise a single-link DVI cable should do just fine.
