Sapphire or MSI 6950?

Hey there guys, my friend recommended me getting this card:

instead of what I wanted to get:

He said they are exactly the same but MSI is more expensive because they gave it a name.

Are either of these good for dual CF @1080p? Or should I get something else? I want my graphics to run the coolest. I was told dual fans and copper pipes.

And I'm getting 1gb because I won't be gaming over 1080p. Vram doesn't make a difference @1080p right?

If your going to spend $250 you might as well get the 2gb. I got the HIS 6950 for that price. I'm actually selling mine so if you want to buy it let me know. It's unlocked to a 6970.

Before you buy either one of them I did here that a certain manufacturer didn't include the dual BIOS switch on it (mine has it).
