I have had this card in my system for about a year now. One of the reasons that I bought it was for the dual monitor support. Since I have had it...it is the only thing that I cant get to work.

Current computer specs:
Motherboard : http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z87-G45-GAMING.html

PSU: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7850413

GPU: http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1226&pid=2030&lid=1

RAM: Patriot Viper Xtreme 8GB Desktop Memory Module - DDR3

OS: Windows 8.1

Monitor 1: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01604006&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&jumpid=hpr_R1002_USEN&lc=en&product=7275209

Monitor 2: http://www.goodgearguide.com.au/review/samsung/syncmaster_2033sw/303602/images/?image=6

When I bootup Windows with only one monitor connected(Monitor 1) everything is fine. When I shutdown and connect the second monitor I get a black screen (on both Monitors) just before the Windows 8 login screen.

I have tried a standard VGA to VGA cable.
I have tried a standard DVI to DVI cable.

I would really like to use the HDMI cable for Monitor 1, but if this isn't possible...can anyone give me a solution???

Thanks in Advance!

I tried what you suggested. When I plugged in Monitor 2...Monitor 1 went black. Rebooted computer using Monitor 2 in VGA. When Windows loaded I plugged in Monitor 1 in HDMI. Same thing. Black screen.

Is there something that needs to be checked/unchecked in CCC or Display Properties BEFORE i plug in Monitor 2?
