Sapphire R9 270X Toxic (brand new) vs HIS HD 7970 IceQ X² non- GHZ edition (second hand)

Title says it all.

The toxic has better cooling but the card is a lower spec. It is brand new and comes with a 3 year warranty. It costs $320 where I am at.

The HIS is second hand but was only used for gaming (no mining). It is a year old and has a decent cooler. The seller guarantees the card is in working order. It costs $200 - $250 where I am at

Which one would you go for?

if you get the 7970 for 200$ you should go for it plus if its used for a year you will still have 2 years of warranty left .

hd 7970 is older version of r9 280x and performance wise they are similar so its a much better card than the r9 270x.

$320 for a 270x sounds like a rip-off, the 7970 sounds like a good deal, as long as the seller guarantee it, His coolers are pretty good actually, i'd go for the 7970.
