Hello,

Recently I've purchased a new GPU: Sapphire R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC DUAL-X
I've upgraded it from a HD6950 flashed to a 6970.

It worked for a few days but recently my pc is crashing random.
All I get after the crash are some vertical lines simular to this picture: http://oi50.tinypic.com/2hqs0ub.jpg

My current setup:

MSI Z87-G45 Gaming
Intel i5-4670K
8GB of Coirsair memory
Coirsair GS600W
Samsung 830 128GB
Sapphire R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC DUAL-X

I thought it was the power supply just could not deliver enough power, but know I've read some on the internet I don't think this is a problem.

I've tried to set the memory clock lower to 1350Mhz but it didn't solved the problem.
Did I just received a bad GPU or are there other solutions to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Memory has nothing to do with your system shutting down.
My first thought was the PSU, I know that AMD cards consume a lot but not in this case.

I think it's a bad graphics card you bought, could be broken!

Its max 60 degrees Celsius while gaming bf4 on high settings.
No matter what quality I pick, the game will crash eventually.
Sometimes I can play for 60 minutes and sometimes it will just play for 5
