Since a few days I bought a system from someone second hand.
My case is an CM Elite 334, the motherboard and processor are new.
My Sapphire r9 280x vapor-X 3GB GDDR5 is 60 celius in idle. When I start up a game i.e Sims 4 after like a minute the fans on my graphic card start to accelerate. A few minutes after that they go up to 100% fan speed and temperature rises up to around 90 celcius. The noise.. well lets just say I can handle it up to 2 hours and than I quit the game. No idea how old the graphic card is, but I think it's atleast a few years old.
As far I can tell I can add 1 more 120mm fan on the side. Is this recommended, or is my graphic card starting to fail and need to be replaced? What are other options to let my graphic card cool down.
Kind regards,
D
