Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X or Asus R9 290

Ok, so I can ether buy the Sapphire or the Asus model of the Amd R9 290 for the same price (second hand for about €250,-) and I wonder which card is the best (tempature and low noise especially are important to me). Thanks

Thanks mate, I did some research do you know if you need a bigger power supply (I was looking at a 650W one) as they say on there website? (750W)

For a pc running a R9 290 you need a good power supply of 650W min. Try XFX 650 or Seasonic 620 or Antec HCG 620M.

Advice around getting a 750W psu would be based on getting a crappy one. I only recommend good ones.

So I' m thinking about getting ether the corsair tx650 or the cx750. Will the 650W from corsair do the job without taking a risk? (also thanks for the quick reply)

Oww, I didn't name the title corectly I meant the Asus R9 290 Directcu II not the one with the reference model

Get the TX650 - v2 I hope - much better quality than the cx750.

btw, I think I'm going with the Antec truepower 750w. Becouse it seems to be a solid psu and not too expensive. Any thoughts?

Truepower is OK. Not as good quality as the HCG series. But pretty good.
