Sapphire R9 290 Tri-x

Will this card fit in my Zalman Z12 Plus case?
it does say here that it fits but i just can't trust this

If you take off the back panel entirely it might

The case supports 290mm, the card is 302mm.
You CAN in theory start cutting your way into the HDD cage and 5" bays, and make it fit. I dont particularly recommend this approach, but it can work sometimes.
Best bet, a new case that supports longer cards.

The only case that fits a tri-x card and is available at where i live is the thermaltake a31 but i just think that its a piece of plastic and well ugly so i thought why not just hacksaw the HDD cage but i dk if it is going to work or not am too afraid to take the risk

What do you think of the A31?

But the a31 is quite nice, was going to get that case then opted for 450D instead

It has a steel internal structure, with plastic stuck on it.
It looks pretty ugly, but it seems ok to use...
Where are you located that thats your only option?

Honestly, go hard and cut the cages open, and if that dosent work THEN get a new case!

Am gunna Yolo it and cut the Cages (I guess?).

Couldn't really find any Corsair stuff here they don't get alot of Corsair stuff now i dk why 🙁 so its either zalman,thermaltake or some other shitty chinese stuff (I would die to get any corsair stuff here) i wanted the H60 too but...o well

Can't really get a new case if this operation failed because i don't have the money for another one.

Am at Egypt so ya its my only option

i was just thinking of just getting the A31 and the blue stuff in the front panel Yellow and covering the power button by a clear black piece of plastic or tape so it lights in black i dk what do you think?

np, enjoy trying to dismantle your hdd cages but the yellow/black theme for the a31? sounds great
