Hello!
I think I night have fried a capacitor on my r9 290x... Recently I got a corsair dominator airflow ram cooler. when I turned on the pc the metal arm of the cooler and the vga touched. I think it shorted one of the capacitors on my card, precisely the 4th at the vrm.
When I turn on the pc I got no signal, but the fan don't spin at 100%, just as usual. I got the whole card fried or if can fix the card by replacing the capacitor?

I don't have any warranty. I found this similar topic:https://forum.teksyndicate.com/t/r9-290-exploded-caps/72739/14. It seems like I have the came capacitors on my card.
Also I found this capacitor on ebay: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/171642130183?nav=SEARCH.

Hi guys... Hope you can help me.
I had the same problem: opened the card for replacing thermal compound, closing then when i start the pc the card make some smoke...
Opened again and i see this:
