I want to set up my r9 295 x2 in push pull. My question is....is it safe to install fan splitter and use 2 fans? I can't find any info on power specs going to fan. Stock fan is cheap that's why I want to replace it. Thanks for all help.

Solution
I have only used push pull for my cpu liquid cooling. But I might be able to do it for my rear fan slot for my top GPU. Maybe I'll try it in a few days and let you know :)
I have 3 Arctic F12 120mm fans connected to a single CPU fan connector, so i don't see a problem with that(someone correct me if i'm wrong). In fact, that particular fans are made so you can connect more of them on the same fan header.

LOL. OK sounds good. I have fans, spliter and im ready to go.......i guess my fear is holding me back.....

any of you ever try push pull from the single onboard 3 pin connector? i am going to replace the stock fan with a corsair sp120. but i am thinking about getting a splitter and using the stock fan as well (or getting another sp120.

i am also going to replace the thermal paste and thermal pads on the 295x2. so i will see what that does first.

this guy tries a few different configs, but he says he connects the 2nd fan directly to a motherboard header:
