Hoping sombody here can help me and get this card working with my computer. I just recently purchased a Sapphire R9 390 Nitro 8GB used. The cards fans run and the card is recognized by my tv but it just says no signal. The seller is someone local from facebook who showed me pics of it running and benchmarked with his rig, which is only as old as the card. Usually if a card is not working my tv will say check video signal so i know its at least registering the card. Im fairly new to the pc scene and jumped in at the worst of times because of the gpu and rams prices right now so what ive got is basically what i can find used. My specs are as listed
I7-2700k cpu
P67A-GD80 (b3) Motherboard running bios version 10.6
16 GB DDR3 ram
Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 750W 80 plus gold
And just for video output a PNY GT610 with vga hdmi and dvi outputs.
Also running windows 10 pro 64bit.
Ive been running around looking for answers and ive tried a few things. ive tried downloading amd drivers for the card from amd and sapphire but every time it goes to install it tries to detect the hardware and says hardware not found (the cards not plugged in so i get that) but i figured i could at least download the drivers before popping it in. my motherboard has no video output or at least none that i can use that i know of so i have to use what cards i have around just for video output. When trying to run the gt 610 AND the sapphire the computer will boot and shows a blackscreen thats says pny graphics 610 but the next screen is just a single white underscore and i cannot go to bios or anything else. all i can do is just hit the power button and the pc immediately turns off. I thought that maybe i have to update bios but it seems that for my mobo any updates past 10.6 only support intels ivy bridge and appearantly if i download it then it wont work with my sandy bridge cpu. just a week ago i was running a gts 450 gpu and playing games like Dawn of war 2 and supreme commander 2 on high settings so i know everything CAN work and play games with at least the gts 450.This is all i have for now so any help would be appreciated and ill be on here back and forth to try and get some help getting this running. Ask me for any more info you may need to help get this running. Thanks in advance.
