Sapphire R9 390 NITRO 8GB

Anyone else experiencing random black screens, crash with artifacts pattern on desktop etc. with these type of cards? This is happening to me since 3 weeks now.

I did a clean install with this card, same issues. Did run a DDU and put my old HD6970x2, no issues so far. Also tested with 2 different PSUs, both being +800W

I also read that these type of cards have issues with memory fluctuation, spikes. Reducing the factory overclock suppresses these issues according to the forums. This is really ridiculous. 2nd card in a year time that goes RMA. AMD what the hell are you doing?

Is it still in warranty? Its a pretty common fault with them cards.

Luckily it's still in warranty! Hate to go through all of this again, because I brought back another sapphire R9 R380 earlier this year. The RMA procedure takes another 3 weeks on top of the 3 weeks that I had to test myself. Hardly had any fun of my card.

.. But you say it's a common problem with these cards? Did you had an experience yourself?

No not personally, just seen a lot of posts about this since the 290 and 390 were released. Google it and see for your self.
