Hello I am new here so not sure if I am posting on the right forum but basically I am wondering if upgrading from Radeon HD 6950 to GTX 760 SC is worth it?

I am looking forward in playing some of the new games about to come out specially WATCH DOGS but there's a review for this card (though I don't think it was SCd or if it even makes a difference) by Tech Youtuber, Linus. He said that this card isn't gonna be enough for the games NOW if I want to run them 1080p full HD and that I should get 770 or 780; this is what I heard Im not sure if I heard it right (LOL)

Anyways I thought I'd ask more pros that's why I am here.

My specs (if needed)

890FXA-UD5
8150 FX 6950 Radeon HD 2GB
Bulldozer 3.6GHz
8GB RAM
750w psu

Solution
The 760 currently struggles a bit with Crysis 3 at max settings @ 1080p with frequent dips down into the 20/30 FPS range.

The 760 is a much weaker card compared to the 770/780 or the 280/290 from AMD.

You would likely see a 20% - 30% gain going from your 6950 to a 760. Whereas a jump to the 770 would be around a 45% jump.
