which one is better
in my country both of these cards are the same in price

i read that the r9 280x will not support full directx 12 ?

also i read that the 4G vram on the r9 380 is for marketing the the card only have 2 GB vram ??

I would recommend going with R9 280x , and vapour-x tri model is really good for cooling your GPU .
R9 380 is a upgraded version of R9 285 , and its available in both 2 and 4gb .

I would recommend the 380, it's slightly inferior but consumes less power, has more VRAM in your case, and has a newer architecture that deals with NVidia Gameworks (particularly hair) better than the 280X (better tessellation performance).

The 280X wins in some games, the 380 in others. I think the newer tech, lower power consumption and more VRAM in the 380 outweighs the slight deficit in performance.
