One of the "best"?? Will you please stop repeating this fallacy?? This is ludicrous.

Even if you keep on repeating this absurd assumption too many times and in enough articles, it will not become true!

Sapphire also published gaming benchmarks of the RX 6750 GRE against the RTX 4060, which is currently one of the best graphics cards.

Well, there are 12 cards on that "best graphics cards" list, listing all the newest models from nVidia and AMD except the 4070 Ti and 7700XT, and includes the Intel A380 which -barely- manages 30fps at 1920x1090, so is it REALLY "one of the best graphics cards", or is it just a list of GPUs that means nothing? It's the latter.

That's not hard considering AMD had 6 models already faster, many -a lot faster- than the 4060, and with GPU sales still being lower than 2013 (Per the lastest TH article), and likely much lower on the consumer side vs enterprise side, and nVidia having a near 1-to-4 share over AMD, AMD's AIBs likely have a metric ton of unsold GPUs.

They do it for the SEO. Sadly, this behavior just upsets people and loses them loyal readers in the long run. But they get the hits from SEO!

While the RTX 4060 isn't the greatest of cards out there, I call FAKE NEWS on these vendor supplied benchmarks. Most reviews put the RTX 4060 as having similar performance to the RX 6700XT, and I highly doubt the RX 6750 GRE is going to outperform the RX 6700XT.

Don’t know about a 4060 competing with the 6700xt. I think if I recall that the 6750xt was pretty well similar performance to the 4060ti. The 6700xt shouldn’t be much behind that. That should put the 4060 in line with a 6600xt/6650xt.

The 3060 beat the 4060 in some tests, so its not really saying a lot. Nvidia didn't really try hard with that card. Its well known. Not news.

We know from history that unless AMD does something like price an equal performance card at half nVidia's price (like the HD 4000 & 5000 series), nVidia has no desire or reason than to do, well, the same thing Intel did until Zen 1 released which was, well, nothing.

Looking up some quick and dirty averages, the 6700XT appears to be between the 4060 and the 4060Ti 8gb, and closer to the Ti than to the non-Ti. The 6750 GRE 12gb looks to be a 6700XT but with faster VRAM according to the full specs on TechPowerUp, so I wouldn't expect dramatic improvements but it shouldn't regress.

The pricing is only a few bucks more than the cheapest triple-fan 6700XT, and for a more stylish cooler plus VRAM speed bump plus Sapphire's better brand image versus that cheapest version, I'd say that's fair. If Chinese pricing is inclusive of taxes, then I'd be real tempted should they make it available in my region.

I'm not sure that I buy this. The standard RX 6750 XT is only 19% faster than the RTX 4060 and if these cards only have minor tweaks, it means that in most cases, the difference won't be that great. Of course, we're talking about "vendor-supplied" (read: cherry-picked to the extreme or 100% fake) benchmarks here. I think that a bucketfull of salt is needed here.

As others have also said, referring to the RTX 4060 as "one of the best graphics cards" only costs you credibility in a community that actually isn't clueless. We know that the opposite is true and it just makes you look bad because you're either clueless or being disingenuous. It's bad optics either way. If you had said the same thing about the RX 7600, the reaction would be the same but more muted because at least the 7600 is cheap. 🤣
