Sapphire RX 480 OC 8GB not running at 1342

Hi,
I just set up a new build and have the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 OC 8GB which is supposedly running at 1342 MHz. And Sapphire Trixx shows 1342 at the main screen, but when i open up the hardware monitor through Trixx, the speed is showing 1256 MHz regardless of how much more processing i throw at it.
If i overclock beyond 1342, then 1256 starts to increase, but i am not sure why i cannot see 1342 in the hardware monitor. Am i missing something?

My setup is
Intel i7-6850K
Asus Deluxe II
Corsair 850 watts PSU

many hardware monitoring programs show the wrong frequency's and if you are overclocking one part of the system then the system will underclock anouther part of your system HWINFO is a very handy tool

That actually makes sense. I did overclock my CPU. I will check it again after i restore the original speed tonight. Thanks for the quick reply.
