Sapphire rx 580 8gb nitro+ VS Sapphire rx 580 8gb pulse

Solution
The Nitro+ is faster out of the box, the PCB might be the same, or the Nitro+ one might be slightly better. if you do not want to overclock, then the Nitro+ might be worth it, as it has a significantly faster stock boost speed.

I would say the best RX480 in terms of PCB design, and thus overclocking potential would be the XFX GTR black edition 480/580. as for worst, well power color had a way too weak VRM one for the 480, but I think now all the 580s have okay VRMs at worst.

thx for the Explanation

Hi, could you please tell me what is dual uefi bios on a gpu.
I understand why I would need that on a motherboard, but on a GPU? The cost of the Nitro+ is almost 50% more than the Pulse in my country. So is it really worth the price if I am neither willing to OC nor willing to add dual GPUs?

If you are not going to perform OC, you would have to buy the standard version, the dual bios is because these plates can be made adjustments, and just like the mother have a backup bios in case any problem arises

Yeah, dual BIOS is for when you are writing custom BIOSes for the card and you need to be able to easily recover from a bad flash. This generally goes with LN2 overclocking and world record attempts, or just very hardcore overclocking.

Save the money, get the pulse, it is still a great card.

Thanks a lot :)
