I bought a Sapphire Nitro r9 390 8gb in the UK around 2 years ago in september 2015. However I contacted the sapphire team to find out if I could get a replacement as the GPU is have issues when playing games under high load.

They have replied back saying that the warranty has expired in july, not when it was purchased.

I purchased the product from http://www.aria.co.uk/ and have proof of this, aria has also confirmed it was a brand new gpu and not a used one.

How do i respond to them?

As from Sapphires Warranty page:

"Warranty may vary from Country/Region, the customer must verify directly with the SAPPHIRE Authorized Dealer/Reseller from where the product was purchased as to the specifics of Warranty provided.

Warranty also varies for products used in Industrial , Block chain and crypto currency mining applications and the customer must verify with the SAPPHIRE Authorized Dealer/Reseller from where the product was purchased for more information."

So I think you'd need to confirm the Warranty offered by Aria.

and more importantly, good luck! I hope you can get it sorted.

Only issue it its almost been 2 years since I've had last contact with them.

This was the email i got back from aria
Good Afternoon,

You will need to contact Sapphire to see if they can resolve the issue for you.

Kind regards,

I still stand by that Aria are initially responsible, I would pass on the Sapphire terms and conditions that bignastyid had posted, as Aria are a value added reseller FOR Sapphire.

Additionally, your gripe is likely with Aria as they could've potentially bought the GPU new in July, stockpiled it, then sold it at a later date without offering an extended warranty, meaning that Sapphires warranty has indeed expired.

Oh I see, so the warranty doesn't being from the date or purchase or from when the product arrives like it states on many websites?

Not necessarily, I'm speculating, as I don't know Sapphire's warranty details well. But my thought process would be that Aria are not a manufacturer, and are only a value added reseller, so the warranty may have started from the date that Aria purchased the part.
But I am speculating.
