Ok, I'm new to backplanes and SAS devices. I'm looking at getting the Athena Power RM-4U4243HE12 12Gb/s 4U Hot-Swap 24-Bay E-ATX Rackmount Server Chassis w/ 12 Gbps Mini-SAS Backplane, and the LSI Logic - 05-25699-00 - Controller Card 05-25699-00 9305-24i 24-Port SAS 12Gb/s PCI-Express 3.0 Host Bus Adapter. Does the case have the mini SAS cables needed to connect to the RAID card, and if not what cables and how many of them do I need to connect it up with the case fully loaded with 24 SAS HDDs? All I can find are mini SAS to 4x SATA and single Mini SAS to Mini SAS. Also the whole forward and reverse breakout thing makes my head hurt so can someone please explain how to hook up that backplane to that RAID controller? All of the drives I'm getting for the case are 12tb, 12gbps SAS bare enterprise drives. Also if that's the wrong RAID card for this setup please let me know that too.

I don't know how I missed that, I was even trying to find pictures of the case disassembled so I could see the connectors and everything else I could think of. Thanks! Sometimes it just takes a fresh pair of eyes. So I should only need one of those cables you think? Like the backplane acts as the harness and just has one outgoing connector?
