I have a computer that takes a standard SCSI Hard disk, but it only holds 20 gb. Could I use an SAS drive in a normal SCSI Computer? Thanks!

Solution
Not unless you install a SAS controller and connect it to that. SAS is different technology then SCSI.
SAS is a higher end of Sata and can run SAS or Sata drives. Sata controllers cannot run SAS drives.

No, thats a 68 pin scsi to 80pin scsi adapter.

You need a SAS controller for whichever Mac you have. These wont be cheap new because they will be raid cards. SAS is used in the corporate world and not often found on consumer desktops, but you may find one used at a decent price. Be sure to match the bus type of the controller to the same as your mac. For example, You can't plug in a pcie controller into a motherbd that only has pci slots.

Honestly, sell the drive and buy one compatible with what you already have.
