[SOLVED] SAS/SATA Enclosure PC

I want to build a tower with the front end having one or two 4-bay enclosures, that is compatible via sas/sata but i'm not sure what i need in order to make this happen, my only understanding is that i need a sas controller and other than that i'm not sure. please

SAS controller is needed only for SAS drives. Your MB must support SAS to use it.

I'm intending to use a pcie card with a sas port and then use a sas/sata backplane cause I also have sas drives
